About me

Bristol based artist, and BA illustration graduate with a great skills and interests in mixed media, utilizing visual, interactive and aural elements to my projects, inspired heavily by hip hop culture and its methodology of remixing and sampling pop culture. I frequently produce work that reflects past and present matters that revolve around musical subculture, technology, artistic processes and other detailed nuances in and out of these areas.

My work first comes from direct experience and observation which I believe is fuel for the flame. The intent is to externalize this to an audience and creative artists and entities alike, in the hopes that they experience, absorb and relate to my illustrations.

The core of my work is free, expressive and playful in nature but also branches into topics that are to the point, metaphorical and ambiguous. This diversity has taught me how regulate my approaches towards projects both as an individual and collaborator.

I am very intuitive in using ink, pencil and paint as my essential tools. I also utilize graphics, print, collage, sound and mural based work as secondary mediums. Overall these elements help in materializing my ideas, experiments and final outcomes.
